BRIDGETOWN TO BRIGHTON 6 FEBRUARY— 29 MARCH Commemorating the Bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act EXHIBITION The installation comprises a scale-model of a chattel house with a traditional exterior but with contemporary furnishings inside. Related art works will be exhibited personifying the intimate relationship from slavery to the present day which has characterised their history and produced the diversity of contemporary British society. Situated in the front window area of Jubilee Library, it is the final event of the year- long ‘Redemption Song’ project.
